HomeMade Gifts....Christmas is coming WAY TOO FAST!

I can't believe Thanksgiving is almost here and I haven't even begun to come up with ideas for homemade Christmas gifts. I always do Cookies in a Jar, Fudge, Homemade Cocoa and RedVelvet Cake for friends and family. I've also made photo albums, knitted scarfs, The Living Christ picture frames, Christmas Potpourri and Tote Bags. I'm searching for something different this year that's quick and easy yet tasteful. Any ideas? What are you making this year?

We make homemade jelly every year with the kids. Then we go and deliver it with homemade bread.
For close friends last year I used my digital program and made these darling photo covers for pocket calendars... the ones that look like check book covers.
If you make something yummy send it my way.....lol

I love Vinyl lettering, you can get it rather inexpensive and I can put it on a tile piece or painted wood. Also, pajama bottoms are always fun and easy in a christmas print.

I am making placemat purses for teenage girls, Ceramic tiles with vinyl lettering quotes from prophets, Decorative hanging plates w/ Greg Olson pictures and home made ornaments. Those are some ideas. I've even thought of doing small Christmas/seasonal lap quilts and small toss pillows. Wouldn't that be cute??? Hope those help!

A couple times I have made scrapbook pages for my mom and MIL. They always seemed to like those. This year I am making them books that are called "Why I love Grammy" or whatever the right name is. I asked the girls questions and going to make their answers into a book. For example. "I love grammy because she makes me jammies" and have a picture of them wearing their jammies.

Okay, I know I am slow to answer, but I just figured out what we are doing. I'm buying boxes of fuzzy pompoms at Walmart, and having the kids thread them onto 6 foot threads with needles while we watch Christmas movies. Then, we will give away pom pom garlands for Christmas. The kids love being involved in what we give away, and it doesn't all become Mom's Burden. :)
