"Living Life Sweet"

As I was going through old pictures and files this morning, I came across this poem I wrote for an English Course a few years back. It was a good reminder to me to be thankful for my blessings and to be happy, and always to look for the good in others and do all I can to help them through their struggles.

"Living Life Sweet"

Find in each a lovely virtue,

then finding it, pass it on.

Disregard the weakness,

and help to make it strong.

Sympathize where there is sorrow,

calming troubled waters where there's strife.

Helping to know that tomorrows,

hold more than the struggles of life.

Sharing in joys, as well as tears,

confidences be sure to keep.

All throughout the many years,

comforting until there's sleep.

Be friendly, wise and kind,

with people that you meet.

And happiness you will find,

if you're living life sweet.
